M. 0 M a , em er Resolution pertaining to Chapter 199, Laws of 1969, Extraordinary Session providing that with certain exceptions, District and fee Justice court income remitted to the County Treasurer be distribUted to cities, counties and the State Treasurer on a percentage basis WHEREAS, Chapter 199, Laws of 1969; Extraordinary Session has been examined along with Bulletin No. 96 from the Chief Examiner, Division of Municipal Corporations, regarding Justice Court Remittances, the following percent~ges Will be applied to all Justice Court Remittances received by the Jefferson County Trearurer effective October 1, 1970: State General Fund Por t Townsend Jefferson County Current Expense Fund .656 .036 .308 l.OOO WHEREAS, all fees, fines, forfeitures and penalties assessed and collected by Justice Court, except fines, forfeitures and penalties assessed and collected because of city ordinances, shall be remitted by Justice Court to the County Treasurer at least monthly together with a remittance statement properly attested as required by the Division of l-lu- nicipal CQrporations, noting the necessary information for the crediting of'such funds. The County Treasurer shall place these funds into the Justice Count's Fund. WHEREAS, quarterly the County Auditor shall determine and certify to the County Treasurer the Total Expenditures of the Justice Court, including the cost of providing courtroom and office space, the cost of probation and parole services and the cost of any personnel employed ~n connection with suoh courts. The County Treasurer shall then transfer from the Justice Court Suspense Fund to the Current Expense Fund an amount equal to the above total expenditures. WHEREAS, the County Treasurer, using the percentages above, shall then remit the appropriate amounts of the remaining balance in the Justice Court Suspense Fund to the State General Fund, the City of Port Townsend and the Jefferson County Current Expense Fund. WHEREAS, all fees in support of the Law Library Fund shall be credited to that fund immediately upon receipt of remittance from the Justice Court in compliance with ReW 27,24.070.
