Notice of Claim for Damages by J. F. Hartegan read by Commissioners.
Plan Approval for Jefferson County Courthouse Annex from State Fire Marshall accepted by
Commissioners.
~Iotion made by Commissioner Huntingford and seconded by Commissioner O'Meara to table letter
of recommenda ti on for Mr. Reymond !(oyonen.
Engineer Beclter asked if Commissioners wanted to go ahead with work (re-paving) on the Quil-
cene - Chimacum road this year, or wait for two years.
Motion made by Commissioner Huntingford and seconded by Commissioner O'r.leara for Becker to
re-pave the road beteeen Chimacum And Quilcene within the next two year period.
Norman pollock appeared regarding the deduction or Teamsters Union No. 589 dues from payroll
warrents. Dues are to be withheld from all but two operators.
Mr. Richard Bradley appeared re: Rental of office space in the Courthouse for Jr. Probation
officer. He would like the office on the 3rd. floor under the clock tower. Approval
by Commissioners.
Motion made by Commissioner Huntingford and seconded by Commissioner O'Meara to adjourn until
April 10. 1970.

present.
Opening of bids: Crushing and stockpiling of crushed screening

Engineer Becker took bids for totaling by motion of Commissioner Huntingford and second of
Commissioner O'Meara.
Becker returned to the Commissioners room with the corrected totals and recomended that In-
terstate Asphalt be given the bid.

Interstate Asphalt for $l2,435.50 for crushing and stockpiling of crushed screening.
I\lr. Charles Little appeared re: Water distribution system for Protection Island Division
No.2.
Motion made by Commissioner Huntingford and seconded by Commissioner O'Meara that plat on
Protection Island Division No. 2 be accepted.

Becker to take bids for totaling.
Becker returned to the Commissioners room with corrected totals and fue r~comendation that
bid be awarded to Bigstone if agreement is made on completion date.
Motion made by Commissioner Huntingtord and seconded by Commissioner O'Meaxa to table the
awarding of the bid until next regular meeting of tho Board on April 20th. until Engineer
Becker can talk to low bider concerning agreement on completion date.
Motion made by Commissioner O'Meara and seconded by Commissioner Huntingford to approve and
sign Agreement with the Port of Port Townsend. Agroement as follows:
