Ivan C. Latta and Dr. Ted Nakamura appeared before the Board concerning a thirty foot strip
of property on the west side of partage Bay Park.
Steve Roy appeared regarding Day Work Program for boys from 14-16 years of age. Motion was
made by Commissioner O'~leara and seconded by Commissioner Huntingford to approve and sign.
Resolution No. lS-70, Work Program for boys, through Parks and Recreation Commission, and
letter of Agreement between the County of Jefferson and the Washington State Parks & Rec-
reation Commission.

WHEREAS, agreeable arrangements have been made through the Youth Development and Conservation Ii

Corps (YDCC), a Division of the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission, to take !i

carc of the maintenance and upkeep of the Jefferson County parks for the 8 weeks the "Ten il

(10) Boy Crew Project" is in operation, and !i
WlfEREAS, Jefferson County has $4,500.00 available in the County Parks Fund, now,

1HEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that :the Beard of ,Jefferson County Commissioners authorize $4,500.0011

Recreation Commission to organize the entire project, to include supervision, tools, pay-
roll, insurance and the administrative details am to fu~nish a complete resume and outline

that time if it is less than the $4,500.00 appropriated herewith.

LETTEl~ CF AGREEMENT
Tho County of Jefferson agrees to pay the Washington State Parks and Recreat:Lon Commission
$4,500.00 (to be paid in advance) to operate a 10'boy worl< crew for a poriod of 8 weeks.
At the end of the project, a complete resume of the coat will be outlined nnd a refund w;l,ll
be made at that timo if it is less than $4,500.00. The projoct will start on or about June
22, 1970. Work woel!: will consist of five a-hour days.
The Youth Development and Conservation Corps (YDCC), a Division of the WaShington State
PnrKs and Rocreation Commission, will organizo the entire projoct to include supervision,
tools, payroll, insuranco ~nd administrativo detAils.
