necessary for: l) a complete inventory of the physical and biological characteristics of
the regional planning district, 2) a continually updated survey of existing water and land
uses within the district, and 3) the various potential uses within the regional district
and their relative effect on the natural environment and relative benefits and detriments to ,;
the public. .
Section
5:
The Commission shall consist of nine (9) members, three (3)
to be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners from each of the three counties of
I<itsap, Jefferson and r-Iason. Of the initial three members from each county, one shall be
appointed for a term of one (l) year, one ,for two (2) years and one for three (3) years.
Thereafter members shall be appointed for three year terms. Commission members shall serve
beyond the expiration of their term of appointment unti 1 a successor is appointed. Vacancies.!
may be filled by the respective Board of County Commissioners for the unexpired term of the

Commissioners received Bud'Jet Report of June 30, 1970.
Quinault School District #97 claim on the Jefferson County Non-Hi~ Rund is 14 FTE at $349.52
per student which makes a total claim of $4,1)93.20.
