It was moved by Commissioner Huntingford and seconded by Commissioner O'r-leara to accept and
sign the contract drawn up by Pros. Attny. Daly with respect to the land exchange bet~een
School District #49 and the County and deed from the School District to the County.

A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING JEFFERSON COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT NO.5,
FIXING THE BOUNDARIES mEREOF, AND PROVIDING FOR AN ELECTION THEREIN TO
DETERMINE WHETHER niB DISTRICT SHALL BE ORGANIZED, AND TO ELECT FIRST
Cor.INISSIONERS, AND NAMING 1l-IREE RESIDENT ELECTORS AS CANDIDATES FOR ELECT-
ION AS nlE FIRST COMl'oIISSIONERS.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the statute provided, a hearing was had on July 6, 1970, to
cCl1sider the Petition for Formation of a Fire Protection District within the boundaries here-:'
inafter described, and
vn-IEREAS, after hearing duly held, upon notice given, the Board of County Commissioners
determined that the lands hereinafter described will be benefitted by the creation of a Fire
Protection in said described boundaries, and that said district will be conducive to tile
public safety, welfare and convenience, now, therefore,
