if so, to elect its first commissioners.
RObison, Holland F. Barrett and John A. Brown, resident electors of Jefferson County Fire
protection district, pursuant to the statute made and provided.
Passed and approved August 7, 1970.

County Engineer, Ed Becker presented letter from Avert N. Wells, Acting Supervisor, Branch
of Solid ~'Jaste Nanagement, stating that due to lack of funds, they are currently enable to
assist Jefferson County in the funding of the proposed Solid i.,raste t-Ianagement planning.
County Assessor, Jim Sofie, presented copy of letter sent to him from Clyde B. Rose, Assis-
tant Director, Department of Revenue, stnting that contract with Cole-Layer-Trumble Co. had
been approved and signed. COle-Layer-Trumble Co. is to cover the balance of the appraisals
to be made during the 1969-71 biennium.
Commissioners approved and signed July's bills to be paid in August.
