Two letters received from Don Morrison, Olympic Health District Sanitarian re: Hood Canal Camper Club Site and Chemikum Meadows Plat. Report from Don Morrison on sanitary survey of Lake Leland. Stated that lake, in general, does not have a domestic waste pollution problem. The well in the county park indicated a high degree of contamination pre- sent, and there is a need for better maintenance program for caring for the pit t.oilets in the park. Commissioners received letter from Dennis Delahunt, Consultant, Emergency Health Service, regarding the i Cascade Ambulance service, with no comment. Letter from Richard T. Greer, A~ting Director, Office of Development Organizations, stating that Jefferson County statistically qua~ifies for designation as a redevelopment area - EDA.. Mr. Val Came ron, EDA Rep- resentative, Bpoke to Commissioners previously on this subject. Commissioners receivl.ld letter ,of P'i"otest from T. H. Letter of "thanks" for support for the development of Fort Worden State Park from Jim Emde, Assistant Dir- Washington State Arts Commission. Chairman Kelly received letter from Governor Daniel J. Evans soliciting his comments and recomendations : on the development of traffic safaty plans in the counties and cities of the state. Kelly will do research be- fare answering. Chairman Kelly received request to serve on the Panel of Officials for Community Forum for Council on Aging from Chairman of Port Angeles Forum. He will advise them of his decision. Letter soliciting membership in the Earth Care Organization received without comment.
