I October 9, 1970 Dick Spindor appeared re: Lease of VFW Hali by Jaycees. Motion made by Commissioner O'Meara and seconded by Commissioner Huntingford to accept and sign lease as written. 8- Norman Pollack appeared re: Teamsters Health 8< Welfare In sura nce for Sheriff's Office for 1971. Said that law states County is liable for 100% medical and 100% perscriptions. Total coverage for ten (10) man office will be $588 per month. Engineer Becker reported there are no trash cans and door mats at West-end Annex. Also need sign for front of building. Motion by Commissioner Huntingford, second by Commissioner O'Meara to buy necessary trash cans and mats. Becker will see to it that matter is taken care of. Motion by Commiosioner O'Meara, oecond by Commissioner Hllntingford to have official dedication for West-end Annex on October 25, 1970 at 2:00p. m. Jim Sibon, Department of Game, appeared before the Board to inquire about county property at the old bridge site on the Hoh River. Game Dept. would liku to obtain this property from the county be lease or sale, for a public boat launching access. Mr. Sibon received approval from the Board and will have propertY:1 appraised and papers drawn up to present to the Board. :i :1 Motion by Commissioner O'Meara and second by Commissioner Huntingford to approve minutes of October 5t~,(. meeting.
