Resolution No. 35-70, Distributing and Allocating Federal Forest Reserve Monies for 1970, approved an?

RESOLUTION NO. 35-70
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF JEFFERSON COUNTY,
WASHINGTON, diatributing and allocating FEDERAl. FOREST RESERVE MONIES received by Je{ferson
County Cor the calendar year 1970.
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Treasurer is in receipt of the sum of $1, 092, 651. 79 from
the State Auditor of the State of Washington, representing this County's distributive share of Federal Forest
Reserve Revenues apportioned by the U. S. Dept. of Agriculture during the calendar year 1969, and pu,rsuant
to the statute of the State of Washington in such cases made and provided it is now the duty of the Board of
Jefferson County Commissioners to make the proper disposition thereof, and,
WHEREAS, this Board of County Commissioners has giv(~n careful consideration to the
of the County Road System, and to the needs of the eeveral school districts of Jefferson County and their
necessary administrative requirements, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of County Commissioners does hereby order, allocate,
distribute and apportion said sum of $1,092,651. 79 as follows:
(A)
to the COUNTY ROAD FUND for the mainten.Ulce and construction of
County Roads during the year 1971, the sum of $546, 325. 8950;
(B) to the COUNTY SCHOOl, DISTRICTS the sum of $546, 325.89 to be
distributed as follows: to be apportioned according to attendance in
said Districts by the County Superintendent of Schools (Intermediate
School District #114) according to law, as follows: School District
No. 20 (Queets-Clearwater) the sum of $15,074.04; School District
No. 46 (Brinnon) the sum of $10,013.46; School District No. 48 (Quil-
cene) the sum of $62, 664. 89; School Dist.t'ict No. 49 (Chimacum) the
sum of $133, 512.83; School District No. 50 (Port Townsend) the sum
of $312, 032. 40; School District No. 402 (Quillayute) the sum of
$13,028.27.
ADOPTED this 19th. day of October, 1970.
