RESOLUTION DECLARING THE REGULAR MEETING DAYS
OF THE BOARD OF
JEFFERSON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMlSSIONERS OF JEFFER.:
SON COUNTY. STATE OF WASHINGTON:
THAT, the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, Washington,
hereby determines, finds and declares that,
WHEREAS, there is an added amount of business to be carried out by the Board
of County Commissioners, and,
WHEREAS, thq-ee meetings a month is not sufficient to conduct said business;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED. that there be and is hereby established as a
rule of this Board to-wit, that nay and all meetings of the BOARD OF JEFFERSON COUNTY COMMISSION.:.
\
ERS be held on the first four Mondays of each month for the purpose of conducting any normal county
business.

Mr. M.E. Poole sent copy of letter to Dr. Richard Slavin from Poole for the Commissioners information
and files.
Motion by Commissioner Huntingford and seconded by Commissioner O'Meara to suppl!lrt the Quceto River
Project by the State Parks and Recreation Commission. Chairman Kelly opposed.
Application for assistance from Soldiers' &: Sailors' Relief Fund from Joseph Freemen Reese and Spurgeon
Leroy Blakesley were both refused by the Commissioners due to lack of names of creditors.
November meeting of the, Board of Equallzation. Assessor, Jim Sofie was in attendance to present the 1971
Assessment Rolls for corrections in manifest errors, omitted assessment and amended returns. Upon due
consideration, motion was made by O'Meara that necessary corrections to the rolls be made. It was sec-
onded by Huntingford and motion carried. The Assessor was ordered to correct the rolls accordingly.
The Board adjourned.
Notice from the Dept. of Social and Health Services, Division of Institutions, that Jefferson County is
awarded $1, 155.00 from Federal Mental Health funds.
Notice from State Liquor Control Board of appllcation from Wilbur E. and Marie R. Lyonll, Irondllle Gro-
cery, for Class EF liquor llcense.
Commissioners received Engineering report for Sanitary Facilities at the proposed DunglSnosLl-Sequlm
Marina. Commissioner O'Meara took report for further study.

Chairman Kelly stated that he wanted a "No Shooting" ordinance for plats that havl'J already boen recorded
and for those to be approved and recorded in the future. Board concurs. Pros. Attny. Daly will be con-

Commissioner O'Meara stated that there was a need to have the Fairgrounds surveyt'ld by thtl E:ngineer's
office and also a survey of the stands at Memorial Field. Motion by Commissioner 0' Meara, (Jecc'nd by
Commissioner Huntlngford for both surveys and call for bids for roof ove.!' the stands.
