Letter from G. Brian Egan stating he had not received commitment of water in writing from Fred Williams.
Secretary asked to send letters to WilUams, Egan and Dupuis asking thekn to appear before the Board on
February 8th.
Letter from Frank Sanders, Assistant Secretary of the Navy, stating representative will be in contact for
meeting regarding prop\llrty on Indian Island.
Agreement between United Pacific Insurance Co. and Jefferson County. Frank Hyde and Bob Garten appeared
re: Their claim again,t Bigstone Corp. Commiuioners informed then they had no clalm against the county, i'

ford and second by COplmissloner Kelly to accept and sign Agreement, (Indemnity Agreement re: Jefferson I
County, Blgstone Corp. and United Paclflc Insurance Company. )
Letter of appreclation for Deputy Sheriff, Bill Booth, from A. H. "Dutch" Quam, Quilcene,
Hearing for vacation for all of lots 2 and 3 In Block 1 of Williams Addition. Motloll by Commissioner Huntlng-
ford, second by' Commluioner Kelly to approve vacation, Unanimous by Board.
Griffith Short and Mrs. Bertie Bailey appeared re: Purchase of Church property cOl'itiguou.s to future County
Shop site. Requests sixty feet of right of way be extended onto church property and {"nce be constructed 20
feet inside county property leaving camouflage screen outside fence, Commissioners concur, and Engineer
Becker will draw up agreement.
Mr. and Mrs, Carl Mann appeared Re: Request for funds from Soldiers' and Sallora' Relief Fund. Chairman
0' Meara advised them to withdraw claim until later date due to Public Assistance reducing amolmt requested .

Huntingford and second by Commissioner Kelly to approve application for $176, OZ. Unanimous by Board.

Mrs, Heien Yackulic, Valley Tavern, Mrs. Bill Clark, Whistling Oytlter, and Mrs. Juel Simonson, Machine
Shop, appeared re: Licensing of Coin Operated Machines, They stated that Hal McKee, holder of Master
License, has informed them they are to purchase machines from him and pay him $50 per month for mainten-
ance, These places of business cannot afford to pay these prices and would like to hllve individual licenses,
Pros. Attny, Daly advised Commissionero to return money to Mr, McKee and not licenae anyone, Commiss-
Ioners will conoult with Daly again and also talk with Mr, McKee. Secretary will Inform owners who apf,)earp.d,

Mr. and Mrs, Bill Breitweg, representing the Lyons Club, appeared regarding the Club's interest in County
leaslng property on Indian Island, Chairman O'Meara read letter recelved this morning from Frank Sanders,
Assistant Secretary of the Navy, stating Navy representative will be in touch to set up meeting.
County Assessor, Jim Sofie, appeared re: Hearing for Open Space Land Classification lor Norman P. Worth-
ington. Moved by Commlesioner Huntinglord, second by Commlesloner Kelly to approve Parcel No, 1 all

County Engineer, Ed Becker presented CRP No. 326 for approvnl. Moved by Commiuloner Kelly, sElcond
by Commissioner Huntingford to accept planned profile for Nordl,and Road, Sec. 20, T30, RIEWM. Signed by
Chairman O'Meara who stated that no more trees will be taken then ill abeohltely necessary.
