Notion by Commissioner Kelly, second by Commiuioner Huntingford to accept bids as presented by Becker. Unanimous by Board. . Gerald Phillips appeared re: Open Sapce Land Classification. Assessor, Jim Sofie stated he did not feel the land would qualify for farm land. He suggested that Mr. Phillips would be better protected by HFR 849' which freezes timber land to 1970 taxes. Mr. Phillips could claddify part of his property as timbe land. After discussion with Mr. Salle, Mr. Phillips decided he would take his advise and not pursue the clain for Open Space Land Classification.
