Section 2. 07 Dedication - The deliberate appropriation of land by an owne!:' for any gfllleral and public uses,
reserving to himself no other rights than such as are compatlble with the full exercise and enjoyment of the
publlc uses to which the property has been devoted. The Intention to dedicate shall be evidenced by the owner
by the presentment for flling of a final plat showing the dedication the reon; and, the acceptance the public
shall be evidenced by the approval of such plat for filing by the appropriate governmental unit.
Section 2.08 Easement - A grant by a property owner to speclfic persons or to thlll public, of the right to use
that property for a specific purpose.

Section 2.09 Final Plat - The final drawing of the subdivision and dedication prepared for filing for record with
the County Auditor and containing all elements and requirements set forth in thia ol'dinance.
Section 2. 10 Lot - A fractional part of subdivided lands having fixed boundacies, being of sufficient area.
The term shall include tracts or parcels.
Section 2.11 Lot - Double frontage - A lot with street frontage along two opposite boundaries.'

Section 2. 12 Lot - Reverse frontage - A double-frontage lot for which the Boundary along one of the streets
is established as the rear lot line, and along the rear of which is an easement as provided in Section 6. '17
of this ordinance. The rear lot line of the lot shall be that boundary abutting a major street, railroad right=
of=way, or other disadvantageous use.
Section 2. 13 Mobil Home Park - Any property used for the accomodation of inhabited trailer or mobil
home coaches. As distinguished from travel trailers and camping vehicles.

Section 2. IS Planned Unit Developmcnt - The unified development of a site for the construction of residentia~,

Section 2. 16 Preliminary Plat - A neat and approximate drawing of a proposed subdivision showing the
general layout of streets and alleys, lots, blocks, and restrictive covenants to to applicable to the subdivision
and other elements of a plat or subdivision which shall furnish a basis for the approval or disapproval of the
general layout of a subdivision.
Section 2,17 Recreational Development - An area developed for recreational 01' second home sites; which
may be Mobil Home Sites or Camping Sites used by owners or club members for vacation or week end re-
creation. No permanent Habitable Home will be permitted in these Developments.

Section 2. 18 Roadway - That portion of a street right-of-way that is improved for vehicular traffic.
Section 2.19 Short Subdivision - The division of land into four or less lots, tracts, parcels, sites or sub..
divisions for the purpose of sale or lease.

Section 2.21 Street - A public right-of-way which affords the principal means of access to abutting property;
including avenue. place, way, drive, lane, boulevard, road, and any other thoroughfare.

Section 2.22 Street - Cul-de-sac - A street opening at one end and having a turn-a-round at the other end.
Section 2.23 Street - County Arterial - A County road primarily serving through traffic to, from and be-
tween princlpal population, commercial or industrial areas; such arterial ,t"outes are dioignated on the
County's Artcrial System.

Section 2.24 Street - Primary Collector - A road or street that carries trnific from Socondnry Collectors,
Local Access and Marginal Access roads or streets to the major system of Qrterial streets and highways.
Generally, Primary Collectors will serve an area containing more than 100 lots.
Section 2,25 Street - Secondary Collector - A road or street that carries traffic from Local Access and
Marginal Acoess Roads or Streetll to the Major Collectors. aene,Mally, Secondary Collector/! willaerve areas
containing more than 25 and less than 100 lots, and will be wholly contained within subdivision Mid afford no

Section 2.26 Local Access Road or Street - A road or street that serves primarily l\ limited number of
