RESOLUTION NO. ~
WHEREAS, the Washington State Legislature enacted into Law Engrossed House Bill No. 372,
; an act relating to electiono, creating a need bl.yond the, present staff limits of the Auditor's office. We, the
BOARD OF JEFFERSON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, deem it necessary to implement an automated voter
registration system.

WE HEREBY AUTHORIZE the County Auditor to enter into negotiations with Allied Data* for
a $500.00 implementation fee ( a portion of which may be returned to the county if prorated cost is lower)
plus a date entry fee of $.18 per voter. The monies involved to be taken from the Election and Registration
Revolving Reserve Fund and does not involve an emergency appropriation.
ADOPTED this 23rd day.of August, 1971.
