Motion by Commissioner Kelly, second by Commissioner Huntingford to adopt the County Current Expense
Budget 1972 and sign Resolution No. 33-71, as follows:

RESOLUTION NO. 33-71
ANNUAL CURRENT EXPENSE BUDGET - 1972
WHEREAS, State of Washington, Laws of 1941, Chapter 99, does provide that on the first
Monday in October of each year, the Board of County Commissioners shall meet at the time and place
designated by prior notice to adopt the Budget for the ensuing year; and

WHEREAS, said law was complied with, hearings held at which taxpl.wers might be heard and/or
given an opportunity to question any part of the proposed budget, and officials in char ge of various departments
were called in and consulted concerning the Budget for their Department: now

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners, meeting in
regular session, that the following budget be and it hereby is adopted as the CURRENT EXPENSE BUDGET OF
JEFFERSON COUNTY for the Calendar year, 1972:
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 12th day of October, 1971.
