THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, JEFFERSON COUNTY,

WASHINGTON, that there be monies appropriated in the amount of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) annually
for the furnishing of office space, phone and service to prevent alcoholism and to assist alcoholics and
their families in coping with and solving an alcohol problem.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of October, 1971.

RESOLUTION NO. 35-71
WHEREAS, the BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASHINGTON, hereby determines, .
finds and declares, that
WHEREAS, there is a need for Jefferson County to form a non-profit corporation to be named
JEFFERSON COUNTY COUNCIL ON ALCOHOLISM, and
WHEREAS, there are no budgeted funds to establish and maintain said Council for the remainder
of 1971 and 1972,

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, JEFFERSON COUNTY,
WASHINGTON, that the Treasurer be and he is hereby authorized to transfer the amount of $500.00 to the
JEFFERSON COUNTY COUNCIL ON ALCOHOLISM for the remainder of 1971 and to hereby establish a budget in
the amount of $ 2,000.00 for the year of 1972 under the Current Expense Fund.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of October, 1971.
