plans for sewerage, refuse disposal, draining and local utilities as contemplated pursuant to 36.70.350(5) R.C.

and as supplemented by water studies conducted and carried on by Jefferson County Public Utility District No. 1
and
WHEREAS, this Board now deems it advisable and necessary for the public health and welfare
I
of the inhabitants of what is known as "East-end Jefferson County" to establish, purchase, acquire and
construct a system of sewerage and/or water, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED and
1. The Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County, Washington, does hereby adopt as
I
an element of said Comprehensive Plan ( as supplemented) for the physical development of that portion of
Jefferson County as described aforesaid a sewerage and/or water general plan for a system of sewerage and/or
wa ter .
2. That prior to final adoption of or amendment to the sewerage and/or general plan, the same
shall be submitted to a Review Committee which shall consist of
.
(a) One representative chosen by the Mayor of the City of Port Townsend;
(b) One representative chosen by ~he Western Division manager of the Puget Sound Power
and Light Company;
(c) One representative chosen by the President of Jefferson County Public Utility District No.!.
3. That such Review Committee shall forthwith organize and proceed to carry out the requirements
in manner, form and objective the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Chapter 73, Laws of Washington 1971,

year 1971.

WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Treasurer is in receipt of the sum of $909,255.28 from the State

WHEREAS, this Board of County Commissioners has given oareful consideration to tho needs of the
