Motion by Commissioner Kelly, second by Commissioner Huntingford to accept minutes of December
6th meeting.
Board approved and signed Resolution.No. 43-71 re: Millage for TB Hospitalization, as follows:
RESOLUTION NO. 43-71
WHEREAS, the TB Hospitalization and Control1aw was rewritten and adopted under Chapter 277 ,
Laws of 1971, 1st Ex. Session, and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the Budget Officer, State of Wasi1!ngton, Department of Social
and Health Services, Division of Health and Research and Statistics, State of Washington. Department of
Revenue that the Counties were obligated to budget a figure for TB Hospitalization and Control based on
a IV()~ valuation determined by the State of Washington and not on County valuation, dollar amount to
be obligated for TB Hospitalization support irregardless of percentage of actual collection.
WHEREAS, the levy was adopted at .314 mill to collect the required. 250 mill reqUired at State
valuation as pre-determined by the State of Washington Agencies im'olved, and
WHEREAS, the above determination was nullified by AGO 1971 No. 32, October 27, 1971, and
ME'lmorandum from Department of Health dated November 11, 1971 that levy should be set on County valuation,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS do hereby void the .314 mill for T3 Hospitalization and
reset the mill at .250 for T8 Hospitalization and place the .064 mill back into Current Expense charging the
budget as follows:

ADOPTED this 13th day of December, 1971, as determined at November 15, 1971 Board of Equalization.
