Mr. Donald Hansen and Mr. D. E. Hen~og, Hansen & Chaulker Engineers Inc., appeared ra: SoUd Waste
Disposal. Presented proposal and letter of estimated fee for the amount of $9,000. Engineer Becker advised
he had gone over plan and it is in line with what is expected and a good proposal. Mr. Hansen said it also
included the West-end of the county. Chairman 0' Meara said the Board should be able to notify them of
their decision in two to three weeks.

WHEREAS, RCW 2,,08.064 relates that there shall be in the counties of
Jefferson and Clallam Jointly one ,judge of the Superior Court. and
I
WHEREAS, RCW 2.08.110 states where there Is only one judge of the
superior court for two or more counties J the Auditors thereof, aoting together,
shall apportion among or between such counties, according to the assessed
valuation of their taxable property, the amount of such judge's salary that each
..
county shall pay, and
WHEREAS, the Auditors of Jefferson and Clal!am County have met and
formulated a percentage from each county for the 1972 ye.ar with the dollar value
included as follows:

WHEREAS the total salary of the Judge accordJ,ng to the RCW 2,08.090
shall receive an annual salary of $22,500, now
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Jefferson County Com-

missioners, meeting in regular session, request that the above percentage for-
mula be used until further notice in the allocation of salary for tho Superior
Court Judge, and
