Kelly, Member I The Board signed and approved Resolution No. 8-72 as follows: RESOLUTION NO. 8-72 RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASHINGTON WHEREAS, Jefferson County is the record owner of that portion of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 11, Township 27 North, Range 2 West, W.M., described as follows: Commencing 37.5 feet West of the Quarter corner between Sections 11 and 12, said township and range, thence North 14045' West 1365 feet along course of the center line of tract of Port Townsend Southern Railroad to a point on the North Boundary of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 11; thence West 51.7 feet to a point on the Westerly Boundary of right of way of said railroad and true point of beginn~ng; thence West 395 feet along North Boundary of said Southeast Quarter of Northeast Quarter of Section 11, to a point on the Easterly Boundary of the County Road; thence South 8015' East 546.0 feet along said Easterly Boundary line of County Road; thence North 750 15' East 462.0 feet to a point on the Westerly Boundary of said railroad; thence North 140 45' West 440 feet along said Westerly Boundary to the true point of beginning; being a tract designated as Tax No.1 in said Section 11; EXCEPT right of way granted to the State of 'Nashington for State Road No.9. . WHEREAS, in the improvement of Primary State Highway No.9, Lake Hooker to Jackson's Cove by the State of Washington, Department of Highways. it is necessary and advisable for the State of Washington to acquire a !ease and Permit to Stockpile Road Material on the aforesaid lands. I WHEREAS, after due consideration by the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, it appears to the said Board that it will be for the best interests of both Jeffer son County and the State of Washington that for a consideration of MUTUAL BENEFITS, that Jefferson County grant to the State of Washington a Lease and Permit to Stockpile Road Materials on the aforesaid lands. NOW THEREFORE, be it hereby RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, Washington; that Jefferson County, through it s Board of County Commissioners execute said LEASE AND PERMIT TO STOCK_ PILE ROAD MATERIAL, and deliver said Lease to the State of Washington, Department of Highways. ..
