10:00 a.m. Meeting called to order by Chairman A.M.O'Meara, with all members present.

Jessee Allen, Richard Wojt and Fred Garber appeared to apply for position of taking Shoreline Management
Inventory fol' Jefferson County, as required under the Act. Engineer Becker advised that each of the men submit
a proposal for the Board to consider. Board concurs. Board requests proposals be submitted on or before
February 22nd,. for final uecision on February 28th.
Board approved and signed Resolution No. 9-72, Co. Rd. Project No. 346, as follows:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF JEFFERSON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, STATE OF WASHINGTON.
In the matter of the Ness to Flagler
Road, County Road No. 4
Resolution to improve road from Hadlock
to Indian Island Intersection
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF CO' UNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their intention to improve 0.86
miles of County Road No.4 by grading, draining and surfacing.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT for the foregoing proper county road purpose there is hereby appropriated sums
in the following detail:

Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED TO report and proceed thereon as by law provided.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this purpose be performed by day labor in accordance with the Standard Road
and Bridge SpeCifications of. the Stf;lte of Washington as adopted by this Board.

Huntingford, sacond by Commissioner Kelly to appoint Edwin Udd as Commissioner for Fire Distriot No.3, as
recommended. Unanimous by Board.
Letter from State Department of H:lghways requesting letter be written concurring that a Shoreline Management
~'ermit is nClt required on their project involving District 3 Wide Safety Improvements for Grays Harbor:, Ma,lIon
and Jefferson Counties. Board concurs that permit is not needed and letter will be sent.
