Engineer Becker will write letter to Mr. Reynolds, and Board will consult with Pros. Attny. Daly. Mr. Stanford Juell appeared regardillg his property taxes. Stated he asked permission to see how much his neighbors are paying for property taxes. in the Assessor's Office, and was rp.fused and told the files are closed. Board informed him that the files are open to the public, and he can also get the information he wants from the Treasurer's Office. Engineer Becker presented construction plan map for Shine Boat Ramp. from Public Works Dept. for signing. Map Signed by Chairman O'Meara. John Doubek appeared re: Departmental name change for the Civil Defense. Name will be changed to the Department of Emergency Services. Resolution will be drawn up for Signing at the next regular meeting. Effective date for name change is May 23, 1972. Mrs. Don Ward, Francis Larson and Mr. larson appeared re: Log Cabin Inn Tracts. They inherited 40 acres contiguous to this property and claim there is a discrepancy in the property lines, and law suit has been pending for two years. They were advised to have their objections written up by their Attorney and to present them to the Board at the Preliminary Hearing for the plat on April 10th. Board received an amended agreement pertaining to the acquisition and maintenance of the proposed Toandos Del Mar sewerage system, from Evergreen Environmental Development Corp. Chairman O'Meara stated sewer- age system will have to be approved by the State Division of Health before agreement can be approved and signed by this Board. Notice from State Board of Tax Appeals that decisions given by County Board of Equalization on Norman J. Walton end John A. Woodworth were upheld by the State. Copy of pre-application notification form for Port of Port Angeles, from Olympic Regional Planning Council. Pro- posed project of Airport Master Plan approved by Beard. Public Notice No. 071-0YB-00511, from Seattle Diotrist Corps of Engineers re: Naval Torpedo Station, Keyport. Proposed installation of two pile-mounted range targets approved by Board. Board received the followinq without comment: Copy of letter sent to all members of the Executive Committee in regard to county's request for FAS loan. Copy of letter to Port of Po't Townsend in reqard to Shoreline Management Permits, from Department of Ecology. Proposed Noxious Weed List, from the D'1partment of Agreculture. Minutes of Intermedillte School District No. 114 meeting of March 9, 1972. 'J.'wo questionnaires from Intemat!onal City Management Association re: (1) Regional Councils, and (2) Law Enforcement Assintance Admin1straUon. Questionnaires will be referred to the Olympic Regional Plann- i Inq Council. and the SherUf'o Office. Lotter from Stato Departml~nt of Commerce and Economic Development, requesting detailed information on projects that wm be submitted for funding thmugh the Public Facilities Grant and Loan Program.
