Chairman O'Meara informed Board the survey requested by OEDP on May 15th. has been withdrawn.
Engineer Becker presented copies of bonds concerning the Plat of Pleasant Tides and lazy C Properties and
advised that time limit for completion has expired on both. Board requested Becker to write letters on both bonds.
Letter of appreciation from R.D. Melim, Naval Torpedo Station, Keyport, for courteous and expiditious manner
in which the Board responded to the request for waiver of Shoreline Management Permit to install marine testing
aids in Dabob Bay.

Open Space land Taxation Ag-ceement from James D. Shaw, Hearing date set for June 12th.
Letter of peit10n from the Lindsay Beach Improvement Association for permission to lay a water line along the
county road in said beach area. Letter referred to Engineer Becker.
PublIc Notice No. 07l-0YB-l';'000566, from Corps of Engineers re: Washington State Department of Natural
Resources. Proposed installation of a long-line oyster culture structure. Department has not made application
for Shoreline Management Permit.
Off1cialletter of award for the 1972 Community Mental Health Program, from Dr. Robert J. Shearer. Dept. of
Social and Health Services. $4,922,21 in state funds and $5,078 in 314 (d) funds have been allocated to Jeff-
erson County for Project No. 72-26l6A to match. local monies.

Two pre-application notification forms from Olympic Regional Planning Council for: (l) Microfilm Records Man-
agement System for Port Angeles Police Department, and (2) Program Development for low-income people for
Clallam-Jefferson County Community Action Council. Board approves both projects.
Engineer Becker informed the Board there are several Jobs yet to be completed on the county parks and insuff1-
cent funds in the Par,ks Budget. He was instructed to complete the work and money will be borrowed from the
Road Budget at the end of this year and pa1d back 1n 1973.
Board received Budget Comparison Figures of all county offices from 1966-1972, from Auditor Betty Temple.

One certified true copy of an order of the Board of Tax Appeals relating to Vorne F. Ray. State Board

Location sketch indicating the area of the Port Ludlow Marina restroom building now under review by the
, Department of Ecology.
