Meeting called to order by Chairman A.M.O'Meara with all members present. i Hearing for Shoreline Management Permits: 1. Port of Port Townsend, for their proposed project to build a 100' x 3D' building, to be located at the Port Townsend Boat Haven. Motion by Commissioner Kelly, second by Commissioner Huntingford to approve. Unanimous by Board. 2. Washington State Parks & Recreation Commission, for their proposed boat launching facilities with loading floats. Motion by Commissioner Kelly, second by Commissioner Hunt1ngford to approve. Unanimous. 3. Gerald L. Weidner, for his proposed dock at Mats Mats Bay. Motion by Commissioner Huntingford, second by Commissioner Kelly to approve. Unanimous by Board. Hearing for Open Space Land Classification for Taxation: 1. James D. Shaw, Taxation Agreement for Agriculture land classification. Motion by Commissioner Kelly, second by CommissIoner Huntingford to approve and sign agreement. Unanimous by Board. 2. Norman P. Worthington, Taxation Agreement for Timber land classification. Motion by Commission- er Huntingford, second by Commissioner Kelly to approve and sign agreement. Unanimous by Board. . Assessor, Jim Sofie, advised the Board to rescind the $50 approval fee for agreement as it is an unnecessary burden on the applicant. Motion by Commissioner Kelly, second by Commissioner Hlimtingford to remove the $50 approval fee for Open Space Land Taxation Agreement. Unanimous by Board. F1Ung fee, in the amount of $25 w1l1 still be in effect. I Chairman O'Meara asked Engineer Becker if it would be pOSSible to oil road at Paradise Bay Estates, as re- quested by Mr. and Mrs. Loyd M. Bell at last meeting. Becker informed that road is not in condition to oil, but they will make an artificial dust palat which w1l1 help hold down the dirt. Said also, that their boat ramp was badly in need of rip rap. Board w1l1 inspect ramp at lunch time today. Motion by Commisaionor Kelly, second by Commissioner Huntingford to approve minutes of June 5th. meeting. Unanimous by Board.
