Establishing new budget for Shoreline Management Survey. Unanimous by Board. Resolution as follows:
RESOLUTION NO. 31-72

WHEREAS, the BOARD or COMMISSIONERS, JEFFERSON COUNTY, WAS:.BINGTON, pursuant to
Section 7, House Bill 584, has decided to complete an inventory and develop a master pro;ram for the shorelines
of the state within its Jurisdiction, as provided in Section 8 of the Shorelines Management Act of 1971, and

WHEREAS, a duly executed Shoreline Management Contract No. P-71-3004-16, covering the
shoreline inventory of Jefferson County has been consumated between Jefferson County and the State of Wash-
ington Planning and Community Affairs Agency, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Ecology and the Planning and Community Affairs Agency have pre-

pared a grant allocation of monies for the inventory section of the Shorelines Management Act. of 1971, and
WHEREAS, the first years grant allocation to Jefferson County for a county-wide program will
be $7,000 to be matched by not less than an equal amount from local government for a program total of $14,000.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASH.:.
INGTON, that the Treasurer be and she is hereby authorized to transfer the amount of $7,000.00 to the Jeffer-

son County Shoreline Management Survey hereby establishing a new budget for the remainder of 1972, from the
General Fund to be under the Current Expense Fund.
ADOPTED this 5th. day of September, 1972.
