Kelly, Member November 6, 1972 Auditor, Betty Temple, informed the Board that county would receive the first half of Revenue Sharing for 1972, during this month of October, with bookkeeping and procedures manual, and the second half in January of 1973. Chairman O'Meara Signed letter authorizing the change in Broker-Dealer designation for County Employment Supplemental Retirement Plan, from Dougan, Eader, Reynolds & Wheller, Investments, Inc. to Falcon Financial SeiVice, Inc. (Sutliffe & Co." Inc.) " Board reviewed the follOWing correspondence without comment. Memo from Edward Kenealy, Director, Alcoholism Section, Olympia, re: County Alcoholism Plans. Three notices from the Department of Revenue re: (1) Computation of 1972 Millage Rates; (2) Local Sales Tax Distribution; (3) Revenue appointments. i County trust land transmittal of funds, from the Department of Natural Resources; $3,111.79, from Schnee,L. becks Lumber Co. , Inc. :i Letter from Chicago, Milwa\.lkee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad Company re: Instructions concerning wintet work around railroad crossings. :! I Dick Woodward, from the Forest Service, appeared re: Snow Creek Road. Road maintenance has been provided by the Forest Service, but they now wish for county take-over due to their haVing insufficient funds for future maintenance. There is approximately two miles of road. Landownors and Crown Zellerbach are agreeable to make land available for all ingress and egress. Only two which haven't given their permission as yet, are Pope & Talbot and the City of Port Townsend. All agreements so far have all been verbal. Take-over is agreeable with the Board. Motion by Commissioner Kelly, second by Commissioner Huntingfoi"d to accept road contingent upon gaining permission for easement. Unanimous by Board. I Mr. Myron Reed, Reed's Grocery, appeared re: Charge aocount by the County for Park supplies am supplies for the County Shop. Stated he has not received payment for two years. Total approximately $77.74. No bills I have been received by the Auditor's Office. Engineer Becker stated no itijmized bills have' been teceived by his office. He was advised that from now on, itemized bills are to be sent to the County Road Department. , Auditor, Betty Temple, presented the Preliminary Budget for 1973. Motion by Commissioner Huntingford, seoond ii ' by Commissioner Kelly to accept the Preliminary Budget as presanted. Unanimous by Board. II Ii II Engineer Becker prtlsented a resolution for approval of F .A.S. Federal Aid Project No. S-0497(9), Quilcene-Cent~ er Road, for the amount of $8,000. Resolution is for additional funds for oompletion of road. Money is to be ' withheld from monthly fuel tax allotments. Motion by Commissioner HUrltingford, second by Commissioner Kelly to approve and Sign Resolution No. 40-72, as follows. Unanimous by Board.
