Engineer Becker presented letter advising that road be vacated and simultaneously adopt a portion of Pope & Talbot road, as described below. Motion by Commissioner Huntingford, second by Commissioner Kelly to approve and sign Resolution No.4 7-72 for vacati on. RESOLUTION NO. 47-72 This matter coming to be hard this day upon the County Road Engineer's report with respect to the vacation set forth in Resolution No. 42-72 adopted the 13th day of November, 1972, and it appearing to the Board of County Commissioners that notice of hearing upon said Et'gineer's report has been posted and published for the time and in the manner provided by law, proof of such posting and publication being now on file herein, and said Board having proceeded to consider the report of the Engineer, together with the other evidence adduced, and being fully advised in the premises, does now find and determine That the public w1l1 be benefited by the vacation thereof, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDERED THAT All tha t portion of Old Shine -Tea 1 La ke Road, County Road No.8, in Sections 16 & 21 ,".Ii' .28 N., R. 1 W. W.M., North and West from the intersection of the new alignment according to the plan and profile dated August 14, 1972, in the office of the Jefferson County Engineer. be and the same are hrreby vacated and abandoned.
