Appearing are: Walter M. Campbell, Robert A. Fox, Howard Fox and Ann L. Fox. Letter from County Advisory Commission of disapproval due to lack of detailed maps and possible damage to oyster and shellfish on tidelands. Mr. Campbell presented new detailed maps and stated there is no shellfish at the site of proposed construction and present . ramp is being washed away because of tidal action. Motion by Commissioner Kelly, second by Commissioner : Huntingford to approve. Unanimous by Board. Mr. William Pittis appeared to ask what percent of county's money goes toward the Humane Society. Requested to see their bUdget to know where money is going and what it is being spent for. Board advised that county does not have a copy of their budget and that money is a grant given quarterly. Commissioner Huntingford stated that if county took over operations it would cost considerably more than the amount now given. Board approved application for the proposed project of Crescent Water Association - Water Supply Facilities and Transmission Main. Notice of approval will be sent to the OlympiC Regional Planning Council. Proposed State Board of Health Regulations for On-Site Sewage Disposal Systems, from the Dept. of Social and Health Services. Chairman O'Meara will review regulations with District Sanitarian. Letter from Chimacum School District No. 49, re: Continued financial support for Intermediate School District No. 114. Chairman 0' Meara advised that Intermediate School District No. 114 is to be phased out sometime in the futuro. Motion by Commissioner Kelly, second by Commissioner Huntingford to approve minutes of December 4th and 11 th meetings. Unanimous. Letter from OlympiC National Forest Service requesting information relating to a road which passes through the S.W. portion of a ten acre tract of land, SWl/4, SEl/4, NEl/4, Sec. 25 N., T. 25 N. R. 2 W, which the county disposed of between 1943 and 1952. They will be sent copy of Deed No. 116, stating that county retained existing roads, easements and right-of-ways. , Board signed Contracts with Teamsters Local No. 589, for the County Road and Sheriff's Departments for 1973. , Resolution No. 48-72, Budget Transfers, was approved and signed by the Board, as follows: RESOLUTION NO. 48-72 WHEREAS, it appears to the BOARD OF JEFFERSON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, that the follOWing budgets will not have sufficient funds to maintain itself for the year 1972, due to emergencies which could not be forseen at the time of preparing the budgets, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that there be, and hereby is, appropriated for immediate expenditure the following: ELECTION & REGISTRATION RESERVE: For' Elections Voter Registration $ 1,652.47 2 .777 . 76 $4,430.23 JUVENILE PROBATION Maintenance & Operation 1,681.67 COUNTY TREASURER Maintenance & Operation 1,711 .97 EEA PROGRAM (100% Reimbursable) due to contract extensions and creation of a new position.
