Temple County Auditor & Ex-Officio Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners Engineer Becker informed that Fitchburg Avenue and Water Street could not be vacated as petitioned by Mr. Robert Goodrich, due to the land-locking of one property owner and law prohibiting the vacation of roads leading to the water. Board approved and signed Resolution No. 49-72, reserving the amount of $9,000 for Courthouse Electrical Fund, a s follows: RESOLUTION NO. 49-72 WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County ti'at it is imperative that certain alterations and improvements be made to the third floor of the Courthouse, and the probability of rewiring the entire structure, and WHEREAS, this Board has heretofore provided for expenditure during calendar year 1972 the sum of $9,000.00, for what has been denoted in the 1972 budget as: NON DEPARTMENTAL Renovation 3rd floor, and WHEREAS, Boards of County Commissioners in the State of Washington are authorized under the provisions of RCW 36.33.020 to establish a cumulative reserve fund for several different county purposes and for a specific County purpose, and WHEREAS, in the judgment of the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County, Washington, the establishment of such a fund for the purposes hereinbefore deSignated is necessary for the efficient operation of the government of Jefferson County, Washington, now, therefore, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County, Wash- ington, that a fund to be known and designated as the "Cumulative Reserve Fund for Courthouse Renovation" be, and the same is hereby established, and that the Treasurer of Jefferson County be, and she is hereby authorized and empowered to create such fund on the books of her off.lce and to transfer the sum of $9,000.00 hereinbefore appropriated, as the base for further accumulations for the purpose indicated; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that commensurate amounts be added to the County Budget for the . year 1974, and for each successive year thereafter. ~. Notice from State Par ks and Recreation Commission of approval of the application for withdrawal of harbor area and beds off shore of Fort WorMn State Park.
