Mrs. C. E. Jennings appeared with request for removal of county owned trees from property in Hillcrest
Addition of rrondsle. Stated trees are very shallow rooted and are threatening their house. Commissioner
O'Moara advises that if some of the trees are sturdy enough they should be saved. Board will inspect the
situation at lunchtime before taking action, at the Ruggestion of Commissioner Brown.
Engineer Becker advised that both roads and water system for Protection Island have been completed and
approved by the County and the State, and recommends releasing of the bonds by the county. Commias(oner
Brown stated that before bonds are released, aqreemcnt should be made in writing that owners shall maintain
the roads for all time. After discufJsion, it was decided that releasinq of the bonds would have no effect on
road maintonance and therefore release was pormitted by the Board.
Motion by Commissioner O'Mel.lra, second by CommisSioner Brown to approve minutes of January 22 and 25
meeting,s. Unanimous.
