BEFORE THE BOARD OF JEFFERSON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, STATE OF WASHINGTON

Resolution to repair, clean and paint bridge

Road No. 206
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their intention to repair, clean
and paint the Queets River Bridge, No. 206/060.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT for the foregoing proper county road purpose there is hereby appropriated sums in
the following detail:

Items of Work:
Day Labor -
Contract 25,000.00 - 25,000.00
Constr. Engr.

The county road purpose herein described is HEREBY DEClARED to be a public necessity and the County Road
Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED TO report and proceed thereon as by law provided.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT this purpose be peiformed by Contract in accordance with the Standard Road
and Bridge Specifications of the State of Washington as adopted by this Board.
ADOPTED THIS 30th day of April, 1973.

Engineer Becker requested permission to Call for Bids for the purchase of One Gooseneck Tilt Bed Trailer of
30 ton capacity, to be opened and read May 14th. Permission granted by the Board.
Board approved and signed Bid Calls to be opened and read May 14th, as follows:
1) Cleaning and painting of tl'e Portage Canal Bridge No. 4/157.
2) Repair, replacing and other work on Queets River Bridge No. 206/060.
3) Cleaning and painting of Queets River Bridge No. 206/060.

Board received copy of notice of withdrawal of application for liquor license for Lloyd Franklin Besaw d/b/a
Curley's Place.
Board adjourned to interview applicants for EEA Parks Maintenance Man position.
