Any such assurance shall be in writing and be filed with and subject to the approval of the Superior Court of the county in which the alleged violation occurs. A violation of such assurance shall constitute prima facie proof of a violation of this act. Section 6.06 Penalties Any person, firm, corporation, or association or any agent of any person, firm, corporation, or association who violates any proviSion of this ordinance relating to the sale, lease, or transfer of any campsite or parcel of land, shall be guilty of a gross misdemeanor and each sale, lease, use or transfer of each separate campsite or parcel of land in violation of any provision of this act or any local regulation adopted pursuant thereto, shall be deemed a separate and distinct offense. Section 6.07 Validity If any section, subsection, or other portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such section, subsection, or portion shall be deemed a separate portion of this ordinance and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. Section 6.08 Conflict All rules, regulations, ordinances or resolutions of Jefferson County in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 6.09 Effective Date This ordinance shall be in full force and effective on'date of adoption. APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of May, 1973. Temple County Auditor and Ex-officio Clerk of the Board Mr. 1. F. Palmer presented a preliminary plat for Palmer's Homesite Addition. Referred to Planning Commission for recommendations before setting hearing date. Mr. Dennis Sullivan appeared re: Humane Society. Stated he is only member of the Board left and now requests either county or city take-over. Board advised they will discuss it with the city before budget time this year. Chuck McLearnsberry, Pope & Talbot, appeared re: Proposed Port Ludlow Plat Extension, Referred to Planning Commission for recommendations before setting hearing date. Mr. Jim Cotton, Ed Croon and Richard L. Sippel appeared regarding their proposed plat. Question as to whether existing county right-of-way is in correct location and acoeptable by the Board. Engineer Becker stated survey has been made and 60' right-of-way established in that location seven to eight years ago. Advised that it is , acceptable to the Board. Preliminary Plan will be submitted to the Planning Commission. Engineer Becker presented preliminary plat for Protection Island, Division No.5. Stated developers w!ll appear before the Board within two-three weeks for final approval. All hearing requil'ements have baen fulfilled. Mr. Earl Ward and Mr. Gust Norquist, Quilcene, appeared to request street extension on county road behind hotel In Quilcene. Engineer Becker will check it out and submit cost estimate for Board's approval. Mr. Edwin C. Franzon appeared to present letter of protost against the proposed plat of r. r. Palmer within Cape George Colony. Ietter will be held in abeyance until preliminary hearing. Request to use Memorial Field for student concert on May 19th, between the hours of 6:00 and 11:00 p.m. from John Nowak, AS9 Presid&nt, Port'Towrlsend High School and Jeffery Sherman, representative from Glass Band group. A list of the cleanup committee and a letter of approv&l from tho RhOdodendron Festival Committee must be prenented to the Board before final approval. Boord advisod that field must be left in good condition.
