Mrs. Carter owns Lots No.1 & 2 within the plat and people are driving across lot no. 2. Board advised to block road off. She also requests permission to cut down an alder tMe on county road contiguous to her property. Permission granted by Board. Mrs. Glenn O. Gustavson appeared with letter of request to establ1sh a county road on the south forty feet of portion of S.E. 1/4 of the S.E. 1/4 of Sec. 31, T. 27 N. R.l WWM lying East of Co. Road No. 20. Property was platted years ago, developers changed location of county access and barricaded old access road. Gustavson's request permission to construct a 30' access road with no expense to be incurred by the County. Engineer Becker will ct'ntact property owners and verify location of county road to establish feasibiHty of new road. " Motion by Commissioner Brown, second by Commissioner O'Meara to approve minutes of last meeting. Unanimous Board approved and signed Resolution No. 19-73, FAS Contract No. 9382 for "Increased Engineering Cost", as presented by Tom Fitzmorris, State Highway Dept., as follows: TRANSFER RESOLUTION NO. 19-73 State Highway Dept. Job No. 9382 TRANSFER RESOLUTION AND REQUEST FOR THE DIRECTOR OF HIGHWAYS TO PERFORM CERTAIN WORK Before the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, Washington. It is HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners that the Director of Highways is authorized and directed to Increase Engineering Cost for Contract 9382 which has overrun, to the amount of Nine Hundred and Seventy Five Dollars ($975.00), being an amount not in excess of the amount of money now credited or reasonable anticipated to accrue to Jefferson County in the Motor Vehicle Fund during the biennium, and Authorization is hereby granted for the Withholding from the allocation of fuel tax revenues to Jefferson County, from the Motor Vehicle Fund, an amount not in excess of the above specified sum, for the use of the . Director of Highways to defray the costs incurred in the performance of the aforesaid requested work, and upon completion of the aforesaid work, a statement having been furnished Jefferson County of the cost of aU labor , equipment, material, supplies, and engineering, authorization is made to effect reimbursement to the Department of Highways in the amount of such cost from the funds withheld, however, not to exceed the above specified sum with any unexpended balance to be released to Jefferson County and to be included in the next succeeding warrant covering fuel tax allotments, all in accordance with RCW 47.08.080. Fischer appeared and presented letter requesting permission to be granted a building permit for Lot 12, Division 5, Olympic Canal Tracts. Board advised that Health Dept. is disapproving all further , building permits in that plat until a water system is developed. Commissioner 0' Meara suggested they request : permission from the Health Dept. to acquire a building permit by using a chemical toilet until a water system is . developed. Board approved application from Olympic Regional Planning Commission for Port of Port Townsend and Quileuto Indian Tribe. Board reviewed Orders from the Board of Tax Appeals re: H ,A. Nash I C.R. Longergan, Harvey E. Bolling, J.C. Stocks and C. V. Morrison. Board expressed great disaatisfaction with higher values placed on dome of the property by the State Board, and ospecially with the raising of C.V. Morrison's property from $13,000 to $84,000. Letter will be sent to the State Board smting they feel the State Board is completely unreasonable. Ordinance for the purpose of creating additional vacation privileges for deputies and courthouse employees.
