Two notices from the Dept. of Motor Vehicles re: Stop Order issued on two camp clubs in the state; and The National Highway Safety Program. Three summons: M & R Timber, Inc. vs Jefferson County; Eclipse Timb.., 00. vs Jefferson County Treasurer and Jefferson County; Allen Logging Co. vs Jefferson County Treasurer and Jefferson County. Copy of letter to Mayor Steve, from Employees Security Dept. re: Additional EEA funds. Notice from Economic Assistance Authority re: Change of policy regarding applications for Public Facilities Grants and/or Loans. Notice from the Dept. of Ecology re: Termination of 45 day review period for DeLeo Brothers S. M. Permit No. 39. Copy of Class EF liquor l1cense for Robert Milton Kunz d/b/a Pleasant Harbor Marina. Letter from the Corps of Engineers re: Outline and map of disposal plan for dredged material from Oak Bay-Port Townsend Canal. Local Sales Tax distribution from the Dept. of Revenue. I . Upon returning, he advised that totals are correct and recommends acceptance of low bids. Motion by Commissioner Brown, second by ChairmanKelly to accept bid for Cleaning and Painting of Queets River Bride Np. 206/060 from Root Paint & Glass Co. ,Inc., for Cleaning and Painting of Portage Canal Bridge No. 4/157 from We Painters,Inc. and Repair of Queets River Bridge No. 206/060 from Alaska Pacific Erectors, Inc.. I Bid Opening: One Gooseneck Tilt Bed Trailer - no bids received. Mr. Robert Bundy appeared re: Clearing of ditch on West Valley Road. Requests assistance from County Road Dept. Board will oheck ditch at lunch time toda y and advise Mr. Bundy. , Mr. Gust Norquist< and Mrs. Ruth Pope appeared re: Access road through Earl Ward!s property in QuUcene. Engineer Becker advised that Board should investigate the road thoroughly before making a deoision. Board will check road at lunch time today. I Mr. Tax Lockridge appeared to request county to distroy a thiAtle patch in the north-east oomer of V. F. W. property in QuUcene; Board wUl oheck at lunoh time toda y and advise. Board signed Contract with McClanahan Const. Co. for the repair of Shine Boat Ramp. ..
