10:00a .m. Meeting called to order by Chairman Wa1t~r A. Kelly with all members present.
Mr. Lloyd Chandler appeared re: Portion of County Road No. 2-0.14, Marrowstone Island. Presented letter
from Roy 1. Nordby stating opposition to vacation of said road. Board advised that road has not been petitioned
for vacation and if it were, petition would be denied due to road being access to the beach.
Mrs. Lee Moore, Mr. Bud Ammeter and Mr. Robert Worthington appeared re: Street extension of road behind
hotel in Quilcene (Worthington's Addition). Requests road be put in all the way through at the proper location.
Board advised that access road will be provided, however, no definite decision on construction of complete
new l'oad .
Motion by Commissioner O'Meara, second by Commissioner Brown to approve and sign Ordinance No. 2-73,
Survey Recording Act, as follows. Unanimous
ORDINANCE NO. 2-73
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASHINGTON.
SECTION l. PURPOSE. The purpose of this ordinance is to implement the Survey Recording
Act (Chapter 50, Laws of 1973) and to assist in preserving ;evidence of land surveys by establishing fees
for rElcording a public record as prescribed by the act.
SECTION 2. RECORD OF SURVEY. The record of land surveys shall be l8 inches by 24 inches, and
med according to the following fee schedule:
A. Basic Fee - first page
