ORDINANCE NO. 3-73 AN ORDINANCE of Jefferson County, Washington, amending Ordinance No. C-382 adopted by the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County December 1, .958, entitled "An Ordinance of Jefferson County creating tmdestablishing a plan or system with respect to va'calions and sick leave of deputies and county employees employed on both a monthly and/or diem or hourly basis". THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FOR JEFFERSON COUNTY does ordain as follows: Section 1. That that portion of Section 1 of Ordinance No. C-382, entitled "An Ordinance of Jefferson County creating and establishing a plan or system with respect to vacations and sick leave of deputies and county employees employed on both a monthly and/or diem or hourly basis" be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Retroactive and effective January I, 1973, each regularly appointed deputy and county employee on a monthly basis who has held such pOSition or employment within the COU'1ty for a period of more than seven years continuously, shall hereafter be entitled to vacation of fifteen working days, for a period of more than fifteen years continuously, shall hereafter be entitled to vacation of twenty forking days, it being the intent and purpose of this ordinance to create ,an additional five day vacation privilege to a seven and fifteen year continuous employment period.
