Motion by Commissioner Brown, second by Commissioner 0' Meara to table until Board can consult with Prosecuting Attorney Daly. Letter from State Liquor Board re: American Campgrounds, Inc. Advised by State Inspector that American Camp- ! grounds is constructing a small grocery store where l1quor is to be sold. Motion by Commissioner 0' Meara, , second b~' Commissioner Brown to approve application for Class E F license. Unanimous. Letter from Ed Richie, Chairman Pro tem, Shoreland Advisory Commission re: Illegal fill on Mats Mats Bay. ;; Property owners by the name of Green constructed a fill without applying for a Shoreline Management Permit. Motion by Commissioner Brown, second by Commissioner O'Meara to have letter sent by Prosecuting Attorney Daly. Unanimous. Letter from Edwin C. Franzen requesting disapproval of J. F. Palmer Plat. Letter will be taken into conSider- ation at time of preliminary hearing. James Sofie, A. G. Dalgleish and R. E. Hicks, Members of the 1973 Board of Equalization were sworn in by Chiarman Kelly. Motion by Mr. Dalgleish, second by Mr. Hicks to appoint James Sofie as Chairman. New Board will convene on July 2, 1973. Motion by Commissioner Brown, second by Commissioner O'Meara to accept Order appointing Harry Holloway III as Representative of Judge for Jefferson County Mental Health and Retardation Board, by G. B. Chamberlin, Judge, Superior Court. Unanimous. . A.C. Grady, District Court Judge, presented Agreement by and between the Evergreen Safety Council, and accre- dited chapter of the National Safety Council and Jefferson County, for Board's approval. Stated a Traffic School will be established by Peninsula District Safety Council, at no cost to the county. School is to attend. Motion by Commissioner Brown, second by Commissioner O'Meara to approve and sign Traffic School Agreement. Unanimous. Board approved applica tIOn from tne OlympiC Regional Planning Council for State and Federal funding for C1allam County for tneir Comprenensive Solid Waste Management Plan. Mrs. Chester Gunderson appeared re: Access to tneIr property. Property located on Lot l6, ParadIse V iew Plat. States access Is olocked by large stumps and logs and requests cOUnty to remove stumps.
