Request from Mr. Earl A. Green, Mats Mats, for S.M. application to construct rock retaining wall along the
shoreline of his residence. He advised he was preViously unaware of permit system and had already built
the wall. Board also received copy of letter to Mr. Green from the Corps of Engineers directing him to re-
move all fill material in place and all resulting sloughed material from the water within fifteen days and then'
he may apply for a Army Corps of Engineer's Permit.
Engineer Becker presented copies of Six Year ConslIruction Program and advised they are to be studied in con-
junction with the 1973 Priority Rating Program previously submitted, He also requested hearing date for Six
Year Construction Program 1974-l980. Motion by Commissioner Brown, second by Commissioner O'Meara
to set hearing date farJuly 2nd. Unanimous
Board received letter of reSignation as member of Hood Canal Advisory Commission from Mrs. Dee Oeinck.
Motion by Commissioner Brown, second by Commissioner O'Meara to accept resignation. Unanimous. No
appointment made at this time to fill the vacancy.

Motion by Commissioner Brown, second by Commissioner 0 'Meara for Chairman Kelly to sign Letter of In-
tent for Application for ATV Funds. Jefferson County's apportionment for Fiscal Year 1973 is $1,540.70. Re-
solution will be drafted for signing.
Petition for stock restriction in the West end, from Richard J. Niiche1, Attorney, representing petitioners.
Tabled at this time to check names.
Letter from Ed Richie, Chairman Pro tem, Shoreland Advisory Commissioner, requesting permission to: (1) hire
secretary for 20 to 30 hours a month, and (2) loan of a typewriter from the county. Motion by Commissioner
Brown, second by Commissioner O'Meara to grant permission to hire a secretary for 20 hours a month.
Commissioner O'Meara will check into the loan of a typewriter.
Public Notice No. 071-0YB-1-00l449, Western Oyster Co., from Corps of Engineers. Copies are to be for-
warded to Dick Carter, Department of Ecology and Hood Canal Adviscry Commission for recommendation.

Notice from U .S. Department of Interior re: Maintenance of gravel spur west of Clearwater road. Referred
to Engineer Becker.
The following correspondence was reviewed without comment:
1974 Law & rustice Planning Allocations. Region No.1, Clallam- Jefferson 1973 alloc.ation for five
months, $5,658. Proposed 1974 five month allocation, $4,165.

Estimate of Gas Tax Receipts to Counties for 1974, from State Highway Commission. Jefferson
County - $300,625.
Notice of delay of allotments for County MR Plan.
Transfer of Class B, C,E, F liquor license from Vern Elyan and Helen Gladys Wittmayer, Valley Tavern.
County trust land transmittal of funds - $45 from Dick C. Lomsdalen.

second by Chail'man Kelly to approve. Engineer Becker will draw up the papers for signing.

Roata, Engineer, appeared to present preliminary plat. Explained ohanqes that will be made in final plat as per
recommendations of the Planning Commission.. Motion by Commissioner O'Meara, second by Commissioner
