empowered to transfer from funds now in her hands under the Revenue Sharing Program of the u.s. Government
the aggregate of the foregoing authorized and budgeted Current Expense Fund items, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Auditor be, and she is hereby directed to cast her books in
manner and form. so as to meet the Standard of Practice as set forth by said Divison of Municipal Corporations
and such regulations as may be promulgated by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Office of Revenue Sharing,
so that the objectives herein sought to be obtained may be properly accomplished.

Mrs. Pat Guthrie appeared asking about permit to pick cedar bows along county roads. She was told to contact
Department of Natural Resources for the proper permit form, which would then be signed by Ed !3ecker.

A call for bids was approved for September 4,l973 for paving of County Roads, #4,#10 and #38 in portion.
Motion by Commissioner Brown, second by Commissioner 0' Meara to approve minutes of August l3, 1973
with additions. Unanimous.
A request for variance of building set back was approved for Mr. and Mrs. Wi lliam Muir, Mats Mats Bay, by
motion by Commissioner Brown, - and seconded by CommIssioner O'Meara.
Board received approval from the Port Ludlow Architectural Control Committee for variance for H. D. Cameron,
Port Ludlow, motion by Commissioner Brown, second by Commissioner O'Meara to approve as recommended
by said committee.

A petition from the Coyle Community Club was reviewed by commissioners. Signatures have been certified by
assessor's office and hearing date set for September lO, 1973.
Sheriff Hansen is due to meet in Tacoma along wi th Chairman Kelly to sign the Mutual Aid Agreement. Since
Mr. Kelly is ill he will check to see if forms can be mailed here for signatures. If not, either Commissioner
Brown or Commissioner O'Meara will go with Sheriff Hansen on Wednesday, August 22,1973.
Betty Temple talked with Commissioners about a report on personnel practices., put out by IGPI. "he would
like to have a survey done on Jefferson County. A request would have to be made by the commissioners.
Jack Perkins appeared to ask for a meeting with city and county officials re: Solid Waste Management.
Meeting was set for August 22,1973 at 7:00p.m. in the Commissioner's Room.
