COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO....1Z!L- Hazel Point Road North BEFORE THE BOARD OF JEFFERSON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS I STATE OF WASHINGTON. In the matter of The Dabob-Coyle ) Road, County Road No. l6 ) ) Resolution to relocate and Construct I IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their intention to Improve 1/2 mUe of the Dabob-Coyle Road by relocating, clearing, grading and draining. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT for the foregoing proper county road purpose there is hereby appropriated sums in the following detail: Gas Tax Funds I Donations ,etc. Other 'f ota 1 Local Engineer Right of Way Items of work: Day Labor Contract Constr. Engineer $ 1. 12 , 000 . 00 3,000.00 $15,000.00 12,000.00 3,000.00 $15,000.00 Total " The county road purpose herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity and the County Road Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZE D TO report and proceed thereon as by law provided. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this purpose be performed by dav labor in accordance with the Standard Road and Bridge Specifications of the State of Washington as adopted by this Board. O'Meara, Member Mr. Guy Rudolph brought Boy Scout Troop #480, from Hadlock, in to observe county government in action. The Board discussed the millage on the levies for 1974 with Auditor Betty Temple. She adv'ised that the county's valuation is down approximately $10,000 on Current Expense and School District #20 has dropped, from last year from $13,476,000.00 to $5,887,000.00. The drop in School District #' 20 valuation is due to the Assessor's rofusal to place the D.N. R. timber sales on the tax rolls. Prosecuting Attorney Daly asked that it be written in the records that he does not concur with the Judgement and Decree for Injunction in Wasser and Winter v Jefferson County and demands that the Assessor carries out his statutory duty. Motion by Commissioner Brown that under the recommendation of the Prosecuting Attorney, Hansen be instructed to place the D.N .R. timber sales back on the rolls. Second by Commissioner O'Meara and unanimous by Chairman Kelly. It was suggested that the millage for County Roads be set at 2mills, 2mUIs for Solid Waste and 1mill for County Parks. . Mr. Little said they were out of water on Labor Day weekend because Cotton Corporation could not fill the tanks at that time, but did fill .
