The county road purpose herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity and the County Road
Enflineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED TO report and proceed thereon as by law provided.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this purpose be performed by Contract in accordance with the Standard Road
and Bridge Specifications of the State of Washington as adopted by this Board.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of October, 1973.

Management Plan data from Jefferson County be inspected as to it's contemporary nature and if lacking, to sub-
mit an approximation of cost of updating.

Engineer Becker presented the Recommended Road Construction Program for 1974.
Awarding of bid for courthouse wiring. Engineer Becker recommends Ken Brown Electric due to their being the only
one who bid as per county specifications. Motion by Commissioner 0' Meara, second by Commissioner Brown
to award bid to Ken Brown Electric for a total contract price of $3,318.00. Unanimous.
Board approved and Signed Call for Bids for the construction of Fletcher Creek Bridge to be opened and read
November 5th.
Motion by Commissioner 0 'Meara, second by Commissioner Brown to approve Contract No. 1060 - Alcoholic
Referral - extended from October 3lst. to December 31, 1973. Chairman Kelly Signed acknowledgement of the
Board.

Letter from J. E. Richey, Chairman, S.M.A.C., requesting a hearing be held on the Parks Department proposed
construction of a reef in the waters off Fort Worden. Arrangemoo ts will be made.
