10:00a.m. Meeting called to order by Chairman VI/alter A. Kelly, with all Members present.

Ken Howerton, Superintendent, Intermediate School District No. 114 appeared to present a progress report and
informational brochures relating to the Intermediate School Districts in the State of Washington. Advised that
most of the funds from Jefferson County go for renting space for educational materials. They are now losing
their present materials center in Bremerton. However, they do not want a center in this county as previously
requested. To decrease their distribution costs, it is necessary to locate materials close to largest student
population, which is in Kitsay County. He expressed appreciation for the fine cooperation given by the
Commissioners and the Auditor's Office and stated he will keep the Board advised. Mr. Howerton's daughter
Marcy appeared with him,
Motion by Commissioner Brown, second by Commissioner O'Meara to approve minutes of November 26th. Unani-
mous.
Motion by Commissioner O'Meara, second by Commissioner . Brown to approve and sign Resolution No. 59-73,

DISBURSMENT OF FEDERAL FOREST RESERVE MONIES
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
distributing and allocating FEDERAl. FOREST RESERVE MONIES received by Jefferson County for the calendar

year 1973,
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Treasurer is in receipt of the sum of one mUlion, two hundred sixty-one
thousand, two hundred seventy-four dollars and ten cents ($l, 261. 2 74 .lO) from the St'lte Auditor of the State
of Washington, representinq this County's distribuUve share of Federal Forest Reserve Revenues apportioned

by the U.S. Department of Agriculture during the calendar ~'ear 1972 and pursuant to the statue of the State
of Washington in suoh cases made and provided it is now the duty of the Board of Jefferson County Commission-
ers to make the proper di'spooition thereof, and
WHEREAS, thie Board of County Commissioners has gl.ven careful oonsideration to the needs of the County
Road System and to the needs of the nevero1 school districts of Jefferson County and their neoeosary adminis-

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED and this BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS does hereby order,
allooate, distribute and apportion sllid sum of $1,26l.274.10 as follows:
