Francis Hitchcock. Executive Director, Ba yshore Interprises, appeared to request allocation of federal revenue sharing funds for 1974. State is providing $3 a day per person for five people and his costs are running $9.75 a day per person. He is providing instructional services for nine people, Monday through Friday, and will in- crease to 13 people in March. Has sufficient funds through February, but cannot operate after that time. Requests an allocation of $5,000 from the county. He has placed application, under Health Services Act, for federal grant to pay salaries for four YFlars, however, he feHs doubtful of receiving it d~e to state "htmg-ups". Board advised they will study revenue sharing account and advise if requested allocation is possible. . By secret ballot, the Board unanimously appointed Mrs. Virginia Franz as County Clerk. Prosecuting Attorney Daly, acting as Court Commissioner of the Superior Court, presented the Oath of Office. Mrs. Franz will hold office as of this date. Chairman Kelly advised that he had received a telephone call from Olympia last Saturday night stating that \' arrangements were being made with the Nature Conservancy for purchase of Division 5, Protection Island. Boord will delay final action on the proposed plat until they are contacted by Mr. Charles Little, Developer. I Bid Opening for the furnishing of Petroleum Products. No bids received. Auditor Eetty Temple advised that she had been contacted by Standard Oil Company and their bid will be forthcoming within a few days. Planning Director Cunningham presented preliminary plat of Seamount Estates, Division 3, being held, in abeyance due to previous plat changes requirements of the County Platting Ordinance and the foilowing "special" conditions, Unanimous. Conditions: Prior to final-plat approval; (I) A fence shall be built and screening shall be planted' along the north lot lines of all lots to prevent dire.:::t access onto the state highway; (2) Within the confine& of the 25' access easement, an access road shall be built to a standard satisfaotory to the County Engineer; (:i) Restrictions and covenants shall reflect the undivided maintenance obll.gations of owners of lots 1 - 9 for the access road referred to in No.3 above; (4) Restrictions and covenants shaH bA established so that Division 3 lotowners enjoy the same privileges and responsibilities as lotowners in previous divisions relative to water , supply and other oommunity property and facilities; (5) The 40' turn-around easement oi lot 9 shall be mad\~ of 1'0-' cord prior to final-plat approval. Chairman Kelly will serve as member and the other two Commissionero wUl serve a!J alternates. . Motion by Commissioner O'Meara, sooond by Commissioner Brown to approve and sign Resolution No. 1-74, Intention to Vacate, in relation to request of Roger Evans, contiguous property owner. Copies wUl bEl sent to Mr. Evans and to Mr. Glenn Gustavson, whose dedication of lIew road is pending on this vacation.
