Glen Little, Developer, Protection Island, Division 5, appeared for final approval of remainder of Divison 5 t
upper 32 lots on water loop. Stated he has signed an option with the Nature Conservanc~r for the fring area
and is negotiating further for additional lots for a "buffer area." Only' area' they are not'interested in is the
32 lots submitted for final plat approval.. Both the Health and Planning Departments presented letters stating
that plat conforms to the rules and regulations required by their departments and recommends approval for re-
cording. Motion by Commissioner 0' Meara. second by Commissioner Brown to accept and approve the above
mentioned 32 lots, to be known as Division 5. Final plat Signed by Chairman Kelly and Engineer Becker.

Board received memorandum from the Office of Mental Health re: Interim Court Rules for Chapter 142, Laws of
1973, 1st. Ex. Session, The Involuntary Treatment Aot. CommIssioner O'Meara advised that a hospital room
is now available for patients detained or oommitted under the Involuntary Treatment Act. Tho h09pitnl w1l1
have a training program for nurses who wUl bli' assisting with the patients and the City has Itoreed to have two
policemen available, without uniforms to help with the patients, if necessary, on volun~ry basia.
