Mrs. Melisll Goehriny and Mrs. Rebert lohnson appeared re: West Valley Road. Inquired as to the amount in the budgot for ropair llnd widening. Said she has talked to school bus drivers and the mailman and they don't fe'31 the road is a safety hazard. They think the money should be spent on the Dabob Road instead. Commissioner Brown explained that traffic counters have been placed on both roads and the count for Dabob Road was 263 com- paired to 745 for the West Valley Road, and according to the Engineer's study, the Valley Road has a bad drainage problem, whereas the Dabob Road doeB not. Engineer Becker advised that a road construction survey will be takon in about May and copies of all information will be given to the PlannIng Commission for their study and reoommendations. Suggests that she attend the Planning Commission meetings for any input or recommendations that' "ho would like mken into consideration. Mr. lie Mrs. Joseph Daniels appeared and presented a letter from Mr.&, Mrs. Michael Muirre: Hl1zardise prob- lomo on Gainer Road, Mats Mats Bay, oaused by Mr. E.A. Green. Stated Mr. Green is parking his trucks and equipment on the side of the road whioh is too narrow to accommodate such parking; driving his tmcka at a hiqh rete of speed oausing dangerous oonditions for other traffic, pedestrians and school children; end getting mud all oval' the road, also oausing n dangerous condition. Board advised that they are aware of the situatl.on and Mr. Groen has been notified of regulations with which he must oomply. Hearing for the Vaoation of East Quilcene Road, County Road No. 20.
