O'Meara~ember Engineer Becker presented an agree men t for execution by the Board, to reimburse the sum of $5,000 to the state for miscellaneous county road services provided by the Department of Highways. Agreement approved and Signed by the Board. Francis Hitchcock. Director, Bayshore Enterprises, submitted an Amendment #,1 Agreement between the Depart- ment of Social and Health Services and lefferson County for the allocation of state, loc:al and federal funds for a total amount of $3,690.40, and a Donation Agreement certifying that Jefferson County will transfer funds in the amount of $222.60 to the DSHS in concurrence with Amendment #1. County funds are to be derived from county millage and community contributions to the county. Amendment 4f:l Agreement is for the period of lanuary 1.1974 through March 31,1974. Motion by Commissioner O'Meara, second by Commissioner Brown to approve and sign both Agreements for the services of Bayshore Enterprises. Unanimous. Information relating to Scan telephone installation for counties was received from Washington State Association of County Officials. Commissioner Brown said that Planning Director Cunningham has funds available for the installation of the system. A firm request for the services will be sent and a resolution drafted for the Board's execution. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Brooks, property owners at Olympus Beach Tracts, appeared to request the county to ,open up an access road into their property. The Board agrees, however, work will not be started until later on this year. Application for Soldiers' and Sailors' Relief, from Maxine Montgomery, legal guardian for loseph Cadero's children, was approved and signed by the Board. Amount requested is $100, to be paid to Dwayne Tolle for payment of electricity and telephone hook-up deposits. Board received request fr::lm Quilcene VFW Post 3213 for their annual allocation of funds from the county. Voucher will be filled out in the amount of $175 for heat, lights and janitor service for 1974. Assessor Hansen came Before the Board regarding the Open Space Boa,rd. Smith Agency and instllllment premium in the amount of $4,619 representing replac=e- ment cost coverage for the county from March 22,1974 to 1976. Copy of letter to Dick Bradley, Director, Juvenile Court Probation PrOQram, from the DSHS advising of pay- ment in the amount of $8,482.42, representing Jefferson County's payment for piuticipation in the program during the last six months of 1973.
