signed approval of the plans, however, Commissioner Brown recommends that a hearing be held for the vacation
of the existinq road. Board concurs. No date set a.t this time.

Reso.ut1on to reconstruct
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their intention to improve 1.3
miles of the East Marrowstone Road by grading, draining and surfacing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT for the foregoing proper county road purpose there :ls hereby appropriated sums
in the following detail:

The county road purpose herein described 1s HEREBY DECIARED to be a public necessity and the County Road
Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED TO report and proceed thereon as by law provided.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this purpose be performed by ..day labor in accordance with State of Washington
Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction as adopted by this Board.

(5) Bid Call for the improve vent of the Port Townsend Shooting Ranqe Site. Motion by Commissioner
Brown, second by Commissioner O'Meara for Engineer Becker to draw up a call fo!' bids for t.he sale of all Umber
within the site. Bids will be opened and read May 6th. Clearing and grubbing of the pf'Clperty will be drawn up
in a separate call for bids at a later date. l'he Board will coneult with Prosecuting Attorney Daly regarding the
possibility of setting up a special fund from the i'1'oceeds of the timber sale for further davelopem'ent of the
property by the Sportsmen's Club.
(6) Requested permission to Call for Bids for the sale of Cold Deck Umbsr pUes at the Coyle pitsite.
Motion by CommiSSioner Brown, second by CommissIoner O'Meor~ to ,approve. Unanimous. BidjJ will be opened
and read May 6th.

It was announced that a special meeting will bet held by tho nuard of Commiuioners 1O:00a .m., Friday, AprH
19th. for the purpose of obtaining information relatIve to the county's e1igib1l1ty to receive flood disaster relief
funds. Notice of the meetinq will be sent 10 the Brinr&on Booatel' Club, Brf,nnon Volunteer Fire Department and
property owners who sent a form letter requesting the county to epply for relief funds.
By motion of Commissioner O'Meara and carrJed by Comrnissioraor Brown and Chairman Kelly, a lease was siqned
with the U. S, Postal Servioe for office spaoe for the County Extension Agent. Amount of rental sh~\ll be
$204.67 'per month, oommoncing on July 1,1974.
