ii Dick Bradley, Director Juvenile Court Services for Clallam-Jefferson Counties appeared to encourage the
Commissioners to join Clallam County in establishing a Special Sup6rvisory WOlk Program in the Juvenile
Probation Department. Program would involve the hiring of six juveniles 14 to 16 YEl8rS of aqa, from June 1,1974
to December 31, 1974 for 6 total cost of $5,800 per county, which would be completely raimburl!l!!lble by the state'
under RCW 13.06.030. Motion by Commissioner O'Meara, second bi' Commissioner Brown to approve and
sign joint ClaUam-Tefferson County Resolution No. 23-74, as follows. Unanimous,

RESOLTUI'ION FOR JUVENILE COURT PROBATION SERVICES
The Board of County Commissioners of Clallam and Jefferson Countie~), State of Washington, believe that

there is a need for a special supportive work program in the Juvenile Probation Department to assist in the
administration of probation services for the delinquent and incorrigible juvenile in Clallam and Jefferson Coun-
ties and that funds for such a program have been provided b~' RCW 13.06.030, entitled, II Probation Services--
Special Supervision Programs ".
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that pursuant to Administrative Order No. 7 of Division of Institutions, this

Board intends to establish a Special Supervision Work Program in Clallam and lefferson Counties from luna 1,
1974 to December 31, 1974: make application for funds available under the Probation Subsidy Bill with the
approval of G. B. Chamberlin, Judge of the Superior Court; designates R. L. Bradley, Director of Juvenile
Court Services, Clallam and Tefferson Counties, Washington" to coordinate planning, certification and the
making and submission of claims for reimbursement from the Department of Social and Health Services, Division
of Institutions.
