10:00 a .m. Meeting called to order by Chairman Walter A. Kelly with all MembelS present.
Hearing, Intent to Vacate, Portion of Old Nordland Road No.4. Mr.George Braman appeared to state that he is .
in favor of closure, as in his opinion, the road constitutes a public nuisance. Engineer Beckar submitted a letter",
adviSing that this portion of road has been replaced and has no pa,rt in the overall county road system, however, ,
it serves as access to a cabin on the beach and has an eXisting telephone line. He recommends vacation be
delayed until the two propert~{ owners reach an agreement regal'diilg access and the telephone utility access
is satisfied. Board concurs. Engineer Becker will obtain written agreemen1s before final action is taken by the
Board.
Hearing. Intent to Vacate, Portion of Old Coyle Road No. 16. Engineer Becker submitted a letter stating this
old road is no longer needed as it has been replaced by new construction under CRP 354, and recommends
that it be vacated. Motion by Commissioner Brown, second by Commissioners O'Meara to approve and sign
Resolution No. 27-74, as follows. Unanimous.
RESOLUTION NO. 27-74
ORDER OF VACATION
This Matter coming to be heard this day upon the County Road Engineer's report with respect to the
vacation set forth in Resolution 21-74 adopted the 8th da y of May, 1974, and it appearing to the Board of
County Commissioners that notice of hearing upon said Engineer's roport has been posted and published for the
time and in the manner prOVided by law, proof of such posting and publication being now on file herein, and said
Board having proceeded to consider the report of the Engineer, together with the other evidence adduced, and
being fully advised in the premises, does now find and determine
That the public will be benefited by the vacation thereof,
NOW THEREFORE I BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDERED THAT
All those portions of the Old Coyle Road outside the right of way of tho present
existing road (County Road No. 16) as relocated and replaced by C.R.P. 354,
approved lanuary 8,1973, in Sections 33 and 34, T. 26 N., R. 1,W.W.M.
be and the same are hereby vacated and abandoned.
