!0:00a.m. Meeting called to order by Chairman Walter A. Kelly with all Members present.
Mr. Tom Beveridge and Mr. William Pittis appeared re: Water well in the middle of East Beach Road. The re-
quest that the well be saved, if at all possible. Commissioner Brown advised that he, Engineer Becker and
Sanitarian, Randal Durant, inspscted the well site and Durant stated that the well will have to be pumped for
awhile before it can be tested. Also, if it is saved for a public well, agreementwill have to be put in writing
with the contiguous property owners to guarantee that a 100ft. radius 1s kept free from any other private wells,
drainfields or septic tanks.
Mr. Pittis also asked that the madrona trees adjacent to Tanedo's property be cut down, and that the East
Beach Road not be widened to allow faster traffic, Commissioner Brown stated that Mr. Tunedo has requested
that the trees be saved ,cnd ns far as the road is concorned, if the people over there prefer not to have their
road improved, then the county should spend the money on a road where the people do wont improvement.
